Shelley Solomon has been named administrative assistant to the president and dean/program administrator at the Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia (MTSA). In her new role, Solomon will support MTSA's President and the Dean in the day-to-day operations at the school. She replaces Martie Hansen who recently retired from the same position.
Rachel M. Brown ('97), CRNA, DNP has been named MTSA Assistant Program Administrator, announced MTSA Dean/Program Administrator Chris Hulin ('06), CRNA, MBA, DNP. "We are delighted that Rachel has accepted our invitation to become part of the MTSA team. Her experience in the anesthesia community, coupled with her leadership skills and reputation of integrity well qualifies her to serve MTSA in this important capacity," said Hulin. She began her duties at MTSA on September 4, 2012.
Nevin H. Downs, MD, former Chairman of the MTSA Board of Trustees passed away Wednesday, July 18 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, He was 69 years of age.
